The Elgin Parks and Recreation Department and NENA will celebrate the recent renovation of Douglas Park (261 Douglas Ave.) with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 6. NENA conducts a bi-annual house tour the first Saturday of December that typically includes five or six historic homes beautifully decorated for Christmas.
